Baby Blue Eyes, Nemophila menziesii, is a California native wildflower that I collected in 2019. Pressed into a clay mold, and pressed once more to create a positive relief. I painted the foliage in underglaze then carved the fine lines to highlight the details of petals and veins.

Glazed with a clear glaze. If you insist on eating out of this dish, it is food safe.
