This mooncake was inspired by blue snowskin mooncakes. I thought it would be perfect for the holidays as it literally reminds me of snow. There is an option to select between red and blue cords as well as the size of the Lucky Knot.

I wanted these to be extra special as I often never make it in time to making pieces for Lunar New Year. As a lazy person who doesn’t get around to taking the Christmas tree down until sometimes March, I wanted to make decorations that can stay up through til the Lunar New Year.

Hand pressed with recycled porcelain, hollowed on the wheel with hand woven lucky knots in satin, nylon cord.
