These Mooncake boxes were inspired by snow skin mooncakes and my favorite flavors of mooncakes.

This box in particular has some imperfections. On the ridges of the lid, only viewed from the interior are noticeable cracks. The glaze from the outside was able to fill the cracks so they are not noticeable on the outside when the box is closed.

Each mooncake was made from recycled porcelain, pressed then hollowed out on the wheel. They are glazed with a cone 5 celadon glaze on the exterior and a clear glaze over underglaze in the interior. The interior diameter is approximately 2” and can fit small pieces of jewelry or whatever small precious things you have.
