These Mooncake Ornaments are inspired by snowskin type mooncakes. This design in particular has a koi fish swimming amongst water lilies. This comes with a hand woven and tied lucky knot.

I wanted these to be extra special as I often never make it in time to making pieces for Lunar New Year. As a lazy person who doesn’t get around to taking the Christmas tree down until sometimes March, I wanted to make decorations that can stay up through til the Lunar New Year.

Hand pressed with recycled porcelain, hollowed on the wheel with hand woven lucky knots in satin, nylon cord.

Each mooncake is hand pressed with recycled porcelain and approx 2 1/2” in diameter.
