This particular mooncake box has a lid with some visible cracks on the inside of the lid. From the outside it is not so noticeable. On the base, there are some pockets of air that formed, which left some grooves with pin hole exposures.

(original description) These Mooncake boxes were inspired by snow skin mooncakes and my favorite flavors of mooncakes. This one has a lotus seed paste filling and the exterior pattern is a koi pond with Lotus leaves and flowers on it to resemble the filling. The interior diameter is approximately 2” and can fit small pieces of jewelry or whatever small precious things you have.

Hand built with recycled porcelain and glazed with a cone 5 celadon glaze on the exterior and a clear glaze over underglaze in the interior.
