This set includes ?oz tea cups with the matcha bowl. I was experimenting with some glazes and thought this would be perfect to match the brilliant green hue of matcha. The inside is textured with swirls to help with whisking matcha powder thoroughly. When I brew matcha, I whisk 1g powder with 2-3oz of water. The bowl is tall so you can whisk this amount vigorously without making a mess. Once whisked, pouring the tea into two half servings fits perfectly. 

glaze is MATTE/SATIN texture and not shiny.
