Made earlier this year, I wanted to experiment with relief carving while combining my favorite techniques of sgraffito while paying homage to my Filipino heritage. The stripe pattern is inspired by tribal tattoos of the Philippines. The monstera leaves were carved and then glazed in jade green while the black stripes are not glazed to highlight the sgraffito carving. Everywhere else, the mug is glazed white.

Made in porcelain with food safe and microwave safe glazes. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is highly recommended for longevity.
